Witnesses in criminal proceedings: rights and duties

Witness hearings are part of every­day life in criminal proceedings. However, a summons is by no means an every­day experience for the person affected and raises many questions.

Which “rules of the game” apply, how can (and must) I as a witness parti­cipate in the investi­gation and what rights do I have?

In our presen­tation, we did not only explain the basics of witness rights and obli­gations, but also shared our practi­cal experience.
