Working from home has gained enormous importance during the Covid-19 pandemic, and it is anticipated that a more flexible workplace will also shape the future world of work.

The expansion of the home office and mobile working in the pandemic has raised numerous legal issues that have yet to be resolved; can the employer unilaterally order working from home, or can employees themselves demand mobile working? What obligations does the employer have to equip the home office? Do the occupational health and safety regulations apply at home? How is the employee’s work performance supervised at home? At what point does statutory accident insurance apply in the event of accidents in the home workplace?

Our presentation on 28 September 2021 offered an overview of specific problems and initial approaches to solutions. After the presentation participants had the opportunity to engage in a Q&A session.
